"Are you hot?" (asked of the weather, as the Fest is the last weekend of July and, let's face it, he's a good looking guy so no one would really inquire as to his attractiveness) and "What flavor are you?"
"No, it's nicer out here than in my frying pan," and "Cheesy, very cheesy", respectively.
As the Emcee of the parade on Friday, night singing with and shouting at the crowds; at the Mr. Pierogi Songfest on the Saturday of the Fest and at the Pierogi Eating Contest and the Pierogi Toss on Sunday afternoon. Other than that, catch him if you can, he's like a doughy ninja.
Some say the Fest has produced its own cultural icon with Mr. Pierogi. You'll find him mingling with the crowd, taking pictures with anyone with a cameraphone, flirting with the bushas and high-fiving little kids. He's the ambassador of Old World goodwill.
